What is EMDR

I strive to provide quality therapy to anyone entering my doors.

I aim to:

  • Provide therapy using evidence based modalities
  • Offer each client individualized services based on the needs expressed.
  • Maintain industry standards for privacy and ethics to ensure my clients feel free to be open.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to offer comprehensive services for clients.
  • Promote a healthier mindset for my clients.

My office is located in Henderson off the 215 Freeway at the Pecos/St. Rose exit. The complex is called the Atrium and sits at the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Paseo Verde. Paseo Verde dead ends into the office complex and my building is right at the top of the dead-end.

About Me

I began my career working in a community agency where I worked with both mental health and substance abuse treatment. I also worked with co-occurring disorders and began my specialization in trauma.

I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and use it as a preferred method for treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I am a member of both the American Counseling Association and the EMDR International Association.

While trauma is my specialty, I work with clients dealing with many different issues. I help with mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, as well as issues related to motivation.

I completed my doctoral degree in performance psychology and work with sports performance issues.

I am currently accepting new clients and have availability at different times, depending on the day.
